During a search about v/c's I came across a site talking about rebuilding them on VW synchros. Is it possible to use a silicone solvent and thin the existing fluid enough to force it out and replace it with something along the lines of Dow Corning® 3-9160, 3-9161, or 3-9162 Viscous Coupling Fluid? If so which one should be used? Just a thought.
