my 95 lwb seems to have a rough idling during full stops at drive or even at neutral position. aside from those two instances, it seems to run fine. any ideas on this, could it be the timing?

I have had the same symptoms on my 95RRC, so I cleaned the IAC as described above, and the truck wont start at all.
?????- I also blew into the vaccuum hose leading to the vac advance...could that have anything to do with it? thx. |

Ummmm. Okay you "blew" into the vacuum line? Like with a compressor? If that caused one of the hoses to pop off or fail you'll have to find the leak. Diagnosing the system is fine if you want to. But buying a few yards of vacuum line and replacing all the lines is probably the way to go. At that point you know your lines are good and you can start looking at the components that fail within the system. As far as "blowing" into the system and that causing something to fail....I guess it's a possibility. I wonder if you can damage a vacuum advance like that? |

I just blew into with my lung power...The really strange thing is, after I cleaned my IAC and then blew thru the vac advance line, the truck turns over, but no ignition all the sudden. Maybe I screwed up the IAC somehow.
