Default Shock Question...

My 1994 LWB's air suspension was converted to springs sometime time in the past, previous to when I got it. I'm slowly going through things and on the list is new shocks. So my question is...for new shocks which do I get...for air suspension or without air suspension. I only ask because I noticed my front shocks are not up through the center of the coil spring as I've seen on others. I'm assuming I would need to buy shocks for air suspension?...correct. Is there a kit or parts to buy to put it back through the coil? Is that better than what I have now?

I have a 1995 SWB and I have the same exact question. Is through the coil better than out of it like on mine?

You can use the EAS shocks when converted to springs by simply not removing the EAS-style shock mounts when installing the springs. Those are what is different.
