Shuts off when coming to a stop. - Land Rovers Only

My Rangie decided to run like (censored s-word). It got progressively worse to the point where it barely idled and was missing like crazy.
Turned out somehow the timing got retarded. Apparently, that was adjusted(by mech) and the truck runs fine now.

Problem is, sometimes when coming to a stop, it shuts off. The you fire it back up w/out any problems and go on your way. Weird eh? What could it be?

Have you checked your Idle air Control Valve? It may be dirty, or it may be going out? Mark it, take it out, and clean it!

I bought and put ina a brand new one.
