One of the small custom fab shops that lurk around here was making one...sorry can't remember who exactly...but I remember looking at it within the last 90 days. How handy are you with a welder...I don't think it would be that hard.

They are a pain in the arse. Mount the tyre too high and you can't see out the back. Mount it too lo and the tyre ill get ripped off hen you go through a descent dip.

I have mine mounted parallel to the rest of my wheels on a hub assembly.

It acts like a wheelie bar, especially in Moab where things get steep!

There's been a guy on ebay that has been selling a pretty good looking set up. IIRC it is about $250 plus shipping.
