speedometer - Land Rovers Only

upon driving my 1990 rr the speedo started going crazy and finnaly peged pointing straight down any ideas on what might have happened or how to fix this..

Sounds like the speedo sensor, had a bad connection and then finally dropped off. You can check the sensor on the back of your Transfer case, see if it is connected good.

Also the speedo needle might have an issue with it. I am not too sure.
