Default Steering wheel

So does anyone know the steps involved with getting the steering wheel off? Mainly I need to know how the center cover comes loose so I don't destroy it after that it's probably pretty self explanitory. Of course if it's not let me know that to lol

You can pull/pry the center off. That will reveal a large nut that you should partially remove. Leave the nut on the last few threads. Then, with both hands, hit the back of the wheel. I have removed about 50 of these wheels this way. There are those that say go and beg borrow or steal a wheel puller but I've never found that to be necessary. There are those who also worry about doing damage to the steering column to whom I say, again, that has never been a problem for me. If the wheel doesn't come loose after a minute or so of force from the back, walk away, have a drink, smoke a cigarette or partake in the vice of your preference. Once you return to the wheel it will come off without much more nonsense.

Never needed a puller on pre 95 Range Rovers. Take off the nut, and rock it back and forth.

Cool now I just have to summon the intestinal fortitude to yank that damn cover off.

I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a screw or something that was holding the cover on.

Thanks Gentlemen

Put your purse down and pull!

Take a look at number 3. Once you get the center thing off, you will ashamed that you were even slightly afraid of the process.

Slowly but surely I'm getting my rover rebuilt. After this it's time to figure out the abs but I'll search before I ask
