I have a 95' LWB and when I step on the brakes I hear a "clacking" sound. Unfortunately "clack" is the best word to describe it. It's not a squeak, squeel or grinding noise. Could it have anything to do with the brake calipers? The truck brakes fine but even if I tap the brakes it makes this sound....????

Sounds like you need to crawl under your truck and see what is going on. Might be something as simple as a rock stuck between the rotor and the backing plate, but what ever it is check it out, don't wait for us to guess whats going on, I would hate to see you loose your brakes in the mean time.
