Stuck in Park - Land Rovers Only

Hi all,

My 1995 LWB is stuck in park. Engine turnsover fine but I get clicking noises from behind the dash and glove box when I depress the gear selector switch.

Any ideas on possible causes and solutions would be greatly appreciated.

You have to have your brake pedal depressed as you well know. And if the switch there has failed you will not get out of park. Check to see if your brake lights light when you press the pedal.

JUST WOT HE SAID 'BRO - Replace the brake switch and you should be trail happy!
