Hi everyone, had a quick question about the front sway bar...
93 rrc 2in body lift some big blues when a front tire is jacked off the ground i find that my front sway bar rubs against the "prop shaft" going into the front diff... is there anything that anyones done to avoid this while still keeping the sway bar? i know they make quick disconnects but i was wondering if there was any other option. Thanks |

I would not remove the front sway bar unless it's purely an offroad rig. It's very scary driving without the front sway bar.

I've driven both with and without and don't find that much of a difference honestly. early ('87 '88 '89 and '90) years didn't even come with them front or rear.
However I'm not sure how it would feel with those squishy Big Blue springs. |

true true... maybe i'll invest in some new springs this summer. tomorrow the frot prop shaft is comming out so maybe i'll take off the sway bar too and give it a test run, see how it handles. i dont do a ton of commuting with the truck, only use it when its raining or i'm not working with my dad, and of course the weekend romp sessions..(got the 07 klx 250 for runnin around town, love that bike) Thanks for the input, keep you updated when i find out whats up with it

right on, thanks fun. I just wanted to double check that i wasnt going to like, roll my car over at 2mph or something stupid... rain today so no prop shaft exchange, maybe tomorrow and i'll take out both front and back sways... if its still a little wobbly i'll see what the quick disconnects cost compared to a set of new springs. later!
