Hi
I have a non central locking rear tailgate can i buy a 'kit' to make it central lock with the doors and wopuld it be easy to fit? I have brand new top tailgate so swapping it over for central locking one not an option, changing the lock etc would be aslong as i can wire it up to exsisting remote central locking /alarm/immobalsier. presuming i could just wire up the cnetral locking motor for the tailgate lock up to wires from the door locking actuator etc- is it that simple. what costs do we think? Many thanks Last edited by simon285 : 10-17-2004 at 03:14 PM. |

The wiring of an additional actuator is easy.
two wires depending on the way you wire the actuator is the direction of travel. just attach it to locking mechanisim in the door, and add it to the same door lock circuit. Just make sure that it is wired the right way so that it locks with the other doors not unlocks. here is an Example form Aus. It's is also nice and cheap. Adam
