The only other thing can tell you is photo-shop a picture of yours...or mabey someone on the forum can for you.

I think it will look good. The Classic was designed with black A,B,C pillars for a reason...tinted windows.

Actually, Rover called it the floating roof look. But tint never looks bad on a Rover. Unless you go with ghetto limo all the way around. Just check your state laws, and go one shade lighter than your state's max. Then you'll have no fear of legality issues.

Thanx a lot guys, yeah i know tint looks good on any rover i was just unsure about how it would look on green thats all. Im pretty sure the legal limit in WA is like 35%! thats nothing, I know a guy with an 05 HSE Candy red and all you can see is his knuckles haha and ive driven my friends passat which has 15% all around and i hate driving it at night because u cant see the curbs when you turn! I think im gonna get 20% all around and maybe 35 or 40 on the front. Ill try and find someone from the lotus elise forums, they are amazing at photo shop. But thanx for the help guys!

Pretty small pic, hard to tell but it looks like smaller tail lights -- likely a GT Junior or a 1600. Regardless, 105 series are sweet! I had a '74 GTV 2000, wish I'd not sold it.

Thanks, that's right after I got her, about 3 years ago now (wow, time flys!). The windows are tinted, but I have no idea if that was an aftermarket thing, or stock, or what. I never really thought about it. I'll put up a more recent shot of her...

The color is "Brooklands Green" according to the door. I've seen other shades, but nothing darker. Mine, sadly, is also quite faded now. It's one of those, "I wish a paint job didn't cost more than the truck" situations, I'd love a fresh new look.

yeah ive got that same feeling haha, how about the feeling that youve spent more in repairs on the car then you did when you bought it new? Haha its all part of the fun. I have been looking for a wrap around brush guard for so long and its a particular one, the one you have, it has a little bit of an angle to it and I can't find it, could you tell me where to order that online? That would be great

that's a factory land rover brush guard have the same one myself they are available from atlantic british and Rover's North etc just about all the major parts places have them but they are way to much money. I'd watch for one used. Oh and they aren't as strong as the look don't ask me why.....

But I know you can get them there i just cant tell which one is the right one, theres a couple but the right one is that one with the angle to the bars.

I have 15% all around on my cornish cream classic, very dark but I like it. Wish the p/o tinted it a long time ago to protect the leather. But you also need to take in mind that a Rover has a ton more windows than a passat, and this lets more light in so 15% on a car is darker than 15% on a SUV

My truck has 20% all around but 50% on the winshield(not a strip), this is very dark but I never wheel it and I like not having to wear sunglasses. Plus my truck has some very $$$$ stuff in it,and this helps on a security level.
