has anyone of you swapped your borg/w with a LT-230? what did it take? pros/cons? was there a change in the case in 96? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!

I have done the conversion about 3 times, you will need a shorter front shaft to go with the lt230 as well as all the linkages sometimes the parking brake mechanism from the lt230 need to be installed as well.
the 96 is a p38 totally different from a classic, for one the bg on the p38 is electronic controlled and if you could make it work the monkey wrench is that the output is on the drivers side vs passenger side on the classic. |
