Question turned on a/c - driver's seat and sunroof quit working

Hi ladies and gents. I bought a somewhat abused and neglected '93 SWB RR about six months ago and have been able to sort out most of the problems I have encountered in it (often with the help of information I found on this forum), but this one has me stumped. I have tried to research, but have thus far not found anyone with this same problem. I am hoping someone here might be able to point me in the direction of a fix. Here's what happened. While driving down the road, I cut the a/c on. The a/c ran for about five minutes and then quit blowing. It would not cut back on. It was at this point that I discovered that the sunroof (which had been working flawlessly up until this point) no longer worked. Quickly after this I learned that the turn signals no longer worked, and neither did the hazzard lights. Oh, yeah, the driver's seat will not move anymore, too. Through playing around with it, I have found a way to make my turn signals work - if I depress the hazzard light button, the turn signals work.
Anyway, I have checked all of the fuses I can get to (having a hard time getting to the ones under the driver's seat since it won't move), and all are in good condition.
Anyone got any suggestions?

That sounds like the famous accessory shut off.
When my accessories quit working I had to reseat the back of the ignition switch to get them back working.
There is a plastic part of the ignition switch and over time it comes loose making a bad connection or no connection at all.
