Default URGENT Q-Steering damper

Ok, here is the problem, i need to change my steering damper. i went and ordered it from my local parts store. The part number for the Rancho one is RS5405. They checked it in their computers and thats the part number that matches. I went and picked it up today, got ready to install it, and it is DIFFERENT!!1!
By looking at th estock one I have come to the conclusin that it need strait(bolt like) ends, the one I got from rancho has one straight(bolt like) and one loop end.

Is it me, or is there something wrong with this picture..
HELP! I need to have this figured out by the latest tomorrow ends day.

Thanks
