I found this really interesting. Since my buddy doesn't have a Heep to drive no more, I drive him to and from home, he only lives like a mile across town. We were on the interstate and it was a hot one out so I had the A/C runnin'.
About an hour of the A/C on a moderate setting and Recirc Button pressed, my friend smelled a very dampish smell, and then I smelled it. Next thing we know there is this slight rush of vapor that was rather cool when you put your hand in it, coming out the forward vents. The vapor well evaporated the instant it came out 2-5 inches from the vents, but when we put our noses up to it, smelled like wet metal. ![]() A/C works fine, no carpets are soaked, and since then (few days ago) it has not happened. So what is the deal? ![]()
