Have just finished re-veneering the interior of my 91 Classic. If anyone is thinking of doing this, I have done a write-up. Email me at hermanpj@yahoo.com and I will reply with the write-up.

yes, i certainly did invent a few new swearwords. particularly when my first attempt at veneering the main dashboard panel resulted in a perfect end product except just a couple milimeters too little veneer - just so that you could see a gap of plywood between the dashboard plastic and the beginning of the veneer.
lesson learned. measure three times!... in terms of woodworking experience, i had none. apart from pinewood derby cars as a cubscout and building a basic shop table out of 2x4s and plywood. i think i could have done the job much faster if i had had such experience, particularly in how to use power tools like a belt sander. did most of the work by hand.
