Im a clothing designer along with being an owner of a 1993 RRC. I want to bring this idea to you. I realize the level of pride a lot of the members take in their vehicles and I would like to bring that to life outside of the forum. I would like to create custom leather weekend or Duffle bags with this forums logo on them, along with the particular members screen name or initals embroidered on. I would sell them on this site at a good price and a percentage would go toward this website. Any feedback on this issue would be highly appreciated.
I can make up a rough draft of bags and post them for review. If this is an idea that anyone would like make come to reality...let me know
Sounds like a great idea, as long as they don't look too Gucci, if you know what I mean . . . How about heavy canvas as an option as well?

Depends on the look of the bag I guess, I think I would rather one with the land rover logo instead of LRO's logo. Oh and only if it was a heavy canvas, not into leather bags,.

I think either logo would get you in some hot water. I am not sure how this site gets by with it. I am sure Land Rover wants a licensing piece of anything using their logo....I am not an attorney mind you....I just play one on TV......

and NO its not going to look guccish or any of the sort. I am also looking at a soft leather version as well.

Him/her with the idea, I can be pointed in the right directions without having to incur legal woes.
Mimic Filson or Barbour (or any other mfg that uses oiled canvas) and you should be good with this crowd...I count myself as part of this crowd in taste.
