Question What are the best Tires to buy in 235 70 16

I've had mixed reviews on BF Goodridge L/T and on Goodyear Integrity? Which are better for mainly on road/highway and very slight off-road wet & snow stable road driving. (my wife works at a horse stable)
thanks, guys.

I'm generally not a fan of goodyear so I would go with the bfg. Given the two choices. If it was me though I would be looking at the equivalant in a Michilen

Not familiar with the L/T... A/T perhaps? Goodyear integrities are great for highway use with decent wet traction. Smaller Toyota and Lexus SUVs came with them from the factory in that size, so they're usually inexpensive for the quality of tire you're getting. However, I wouldn't recommend them for anything off road (wet grass, etc.) BFG is not a bad choice either (I prefer them over just about anything -- My RRC has them as well as my truck) and are hard to beat. Along with Army's recommendation, here's a little known fact. BFG is owned and manufactured by Michelin.

Thanks guys.
How about the Pirelly 245 70 16 and do I need a lift for them or is stock spring OK?
I had a blowout driving back to NYC from PA on route 80E in NJ on Wednesday night. They were doing extensive road work for about 3 to 4 miles there was only one crappy lane to drive on and it was dark. The top of my right rear tire came off and slammed against the right rear fender and dented it. I was able to drive to the side, but it scared the shit out of my wife and our dog. It also ripped out my towing cables and dented the mud flap wheel metal holder. Now I have to get some body work done on the rear fender it sucks. I should change all my tires in case they are too old. Funny my tapping noise stopped a week ago after using the Lucas stabilizer. I thought the Rover was going to crap out from the engine and it's running super solid since the Lucas Stabilizer. The dent is not pretty, but it did not stop our Rover from going to the stable this weekend.

Personally; for your wife's driving conditions, the fact that horse farms get muddy, and slick, quick, and the weight of the vehicle; I would go with the Yokohama GeoLandar HT/S or AT/S. I prefer the AT/S, but your wife might not see the advantage in buying a true All Terrain tire. The HT/S gives you most of the advantages of the AT without the harsher ride or noise. Myself, I don't notice them, but I have modified trucks. On a complete stocker, it may be noticeable.

Just my .02

I'm pretty psyched with the 235/70 Dunlop Radial Rovers that I just got. They came highly recommended, and I don't have any reason to be unhappy with them so far (all 200 miles logged). But I'm behind the wheel of a true stocker, used as a dd.

Glad to hear that everyone's ok

tirestest.com - Tyre reviews - an independent consumer survey

General Grabber AT2 seems to be alright.
