i use the castrol 20-50 in the summer and 5-30 in the winter (MN). check your owner manual and see where the temp of your area fits in. 20-50 can go down to 40 or so degrees F. i think if i move to OR next summer (hope so!!) i will stay w/ 20-50 in summer and go w/ 10-40 or 10-30 in the winter months (going in the mountains, colder) but not as cold as MN (-20F w/out windchill at times)!!
also buy some oil flush and add it in before you drain the oil (clean it's out good). i do that every other oil change. ![]()
