Default What is this light?

Have a light on the dash of my first '93 RR that looks like this:

O-!-O

It stays on all the time, and I don't have a book yet.

Thanks

I checked my manual, it is indeed the Electronic Traction Control (ETC) light.

And as I am sure you assumed...when the light stays on the ETC is in fault mode and not operational.

Is there a code on your display under the passenger seat?

nope that goes along with your abs.... your model only has tc on rear axle...do a search on how to read abs codes manually and what they mean, once you have diagnosed the codes it can be cleared and your light will extinguish.

Wouldn't suprise me if it is the ABS... the PO replaced the brakes but complained that they never worked correctly. The ABS light is also on, and the Brake light flashes on occasion. Haven't had time to bleed them properly, but I'm certain he didn't know that there is a specific procedure
