Default What LWB should I get?

My father is looking to buy a LWB classic...

I was wondering what kinds of opinions everyone had on what year, things to look for, what kinds of problems to be ready for... that kind of thing.

thanks in advance!!

sweet em! your dad is getting back into the rover world. next u 2 need to fix up that dormy before it becomes a eco system...lol here is some info on each yr on the lwb.

i love my 93 lwb over my dads swb for the room inside and the 4.2 engine. the 93 lwb was the only yr they added saddle leather.

LR stoped w/ the cigar lighter in the back seat, nice to have for a cooler and etc. LR changed w/ plastic door sills. 93 and lower had alum. still much is the same from the 93 lwb.

has the soft dash like the discos and a lot of parts will not work from the 94 and earlier rrc's. i like the classic rrc dash but thats just me.

good luck w/ the search.
cheers

Why not? I don't get to off road much and wish I had the extra room of the LWB but I'll just have to make due with my SWB.

I would probably stick with a 93 or 94 for the ease of parts
