All good stuff. Okie, I was planning to leave on thursday but this strange oil issue has surfaced and the wife has stressed that if we break down, I will be in for a long period of celibacy. I pack the duct tape in the kit to cover a my spouse's mouth so I don't have to hear no sassin' about classic.

If it is 500 miles on road, I would not be taking much in the way of spares. You say that it has been reliable.
I have nearly always found that no matter how many spares you carry, it will be the one that you don't have that you will need.
