Default Wheels

I am looking for Black spoked wheels for a 95 RRC LWB. Anyone know a place online that sells the right wheels for this? Plan to do some offroading, just looking for some attractive black wheels for this vehicle. I'm not having any luck at any wheel dealer websites; they dont seem to sell anything for this specific vehicle. Thanks for your help with this.

If you're going to be off road, don't spend big $$ on wheels that are supposed to look good. Try to pick up a set of the steel/NATO wheels and paint 'em black yourself. Check the parts for sale section here and elsewhere. Your being in HI though will add to shipping costs though...

There are only a couple companys making aftermarket rims. ZU, Mach 1 and Outback TX are all pretty cool but very expensive. Scorpion racing has photos of them Scorpion Racing - Suppliers of Fast, Extreme On and Off Road Road Products. There are some Outback TX on ebay right now for 780 for 4, free shipping, lug nuts. Not a bad price. Stephen at Safari Rovers gets the ZU rims but they are over 200 a pop. I think AG 4x4 can get the Mach 1s but unsure. They are pretty much just like the ZUs only steel. GCR has the steelies with a greater offset, but if you want to keep a stock offset you need NATOS or D1 steelies (the spare was steel on early D1s). The D1 steelies are probably the cheapest option, if you can hunt them down in singles. Gordon

These particular wheels are listed as ones made by American Racing on that website, which is misleading. I had checked directly with American Racing a couple of weeks ago to see if they made anything in the 5-6.5" bolt pattern and they don't. There's one wheel in one size listed on their website, but it is actually a website typo. However, Carlisle ---the company that owns/makes Cragar (Cragar Classic Wheels) and Unique wheels (Unique Wheel - Quality Steel Wheels for Automobiles and Trucks), makes this exact wheel design in the bolt pattern you need. They call it their "Supreme" wheel and while it's normally manufactured white (as it's one of their more popular trailer design wheels), they will make it in a gloss black at no extra charge. They're out of California, so perhaps you can find a dealer near you.
