Default where do i go from here? rough running rrc lwb

truck ran fine, other than sporatic idle now and then. i bought it in april, 95,000 miles, and no idea when it last had a tuneup, so i repaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel and air filters.

it has less than 100 miles on it since all of that, and ran fine till last night, it would not idle. i went and bought a stepper motor and replaced it, and it seemed to do fine this morning, for a few minutes, now back to the rough idle, and i noticed that when i accelerate, there is a hesitation.

also, i have tried to clear the code 48 (stepper motor) but i guess i am not disconnecting the right plug, as code will not clear. how can i identify the right plug?

Clearing the code is just pulling a battery terminal for 30 seconds.
