Wipers start when I start!! - Land Rovers Only

I just got this 93 RRC. Every time I start it, the windshield wipers turn on. Most of the time it wipes once. Some time it wipes a few times then stops. What is up with that????

the front ones? do u have it in the off pos? the front have the slow to fast inter. pos. sometimes when i start my rrc i hit the rear wipe forward and it wipes acouple of times. weid? does it stay on? u might check the wires under the steering shoulders, maybe something lose if it keeps going all the time.

Ok, I will check those.... I have not had too much time to fiddle with that stuff just yet! Looking to do some of that this weekend!
