Default Won't start

Well it's ZERO here. and the rover just won't start. I'm not in panic mode yet. I'm coming home at luch to see if it'll start. She fired right up first shot. ran for a few seconds then died. Now all I get is every 3-5 turns of the engine it'll chug 2-3 times but not catch.

Where do I start?

It has a can of seafoam and 3/4 tank of gas. So it has spark and fuel -- the chugs? Coil?. ign amp, Just to damn cold out???

Check either the Coolant Temperature Sensor or the Fuel Temperature Sensor. One of these could be faulty.

maybe a bad or drained battery?

hows old is your battery and did u clean the termals out and coat them down. its been an averg. of -20F up here for the last wk and my has been starting right up. i got a 875cc battery last year and check and clean the termals alot. also if your going to start her up let your rover or any other car run for a minimal of 30min to recharge the battery.

also if u carry a ipod, labtop, and etc out in the minus temps, do not start up the electric device right away when u go into a warm area. the moister that builds up can damage the device.

good luck and keep warm

Cranks over fast no issue with cranking. Battery is good. Kinda like is wont catch wants to startevery 3-4 cranks it will chug but won't start.I have good spark to the cap. Just won't turn over. I read across the semp sensor and I get an open. I read some where I should get 9K when colt and 2-300 when warm.

it would be good to put some die-electric grease on the plugs (if u didnt already) after u cleaned and gapped them.
