Yet another coolant leak thread

I have a coolant leak that is depositing in the rear of the valley under the the intake. The oil is not milky, the coolant does not smell like exhaust and is very clear and clean (flushed 4 weeks ago). I've checked for bubbles/burps and there is no evidence of over pressurization. There is a very slight hiss when I take the cap off which I figure is normal, right? There is no steam in the exhaust. There isn't even an odor of coolant in the truck while driving. I've checked the heater hoses and they seem fine. I'm not losing a lot but it is enough to leave a damp spot on the drive. It drips down both sides of the bell housing, more so after a longer (50 mile +) drive. Any thoughts??

You absolutely sure your heater hoses are good?
If it's leaking on top the engine that's easy to see. If it's the heater hoses that go into the heater core that's a bit more difficult to replace. Not impossible just difficult.
Check those hoses real good.
The hoses are fairly cheap. Just replace them.

Intake manifold gasket possibly. A cooling system pressure test should allow it to rear its ugly head.

I have a similar leak at the front, fills up the gulley at the base of the distributor. Been like that for three years now. Waiting for it to worsen.
