Default 130k service

i have a 97 d1 and i don't have the owners manual anymore.

could somebody tell me all the stuff the 130,000 mile service requires?
i'm going to do it all myself i just need to know what needs to be done besides the obvious fluid changes.

thanks,
drew

There really isn't a 130K, did you ever do the major service which would have been required at 120K?

Does the word EVERYTHING give you a clue.
This is probably the bigest of all do.
You are looking at all fluids, including power steering and brakes, coolant and all drive line fluids.
All filters, check and replace all belts and hoses as needed.
Spark plugs and wires, use Bosh Platium Plus 4's and Magnacor 8 mm wires found at http://www.roverconnection.com/
I would do an engine flush before the LOF, clean out some of your build up of sludge and crap.
Consider using some Lucas additive in your power steering as well as the transmission.
Get 3 bottles of SeaFoam, one for the gas, one for the crank case and the other for the induction system, this will make a good difference in how the truck runs.
One of the last things I would suggest would be to consider, either now or soon, change out your O2 sensors to regain some power and MPG you have gradually lost as they became older and less effective.
This can all be done in your drive way over a slow weekend.

This will be close.
6 qts. of Dextron ATF
2 qts of 80/90W gear oil for each fidd and 3 for the t/case, dino juice or synthetic.
6 qts of engine oil 20/50W Castrol X
1 qt of power steering fluid
3 pints of brake fluid
1 1/2 gallons of coolant
Buy a couple cans of brake cleaner and two of carb cleaner
Hope this helps.

If you want to spoil it a little, add a bottle of Lucas to the power steering and the tranny. Also put a pint of their oil extebder in the diffs and the t/case all for better wear and less noise.
At some point you should consider doing an engine oil flush along with some additives to the engine to help with carbon build up, but you haveenough to do now.

Just a question, Mike: What's the PS fluid used for? Aren't we supposed to use ATF in the PS reservoir?

You can get by, on some model, with ATF, but with the leaks and steering related issues our Rovers have why chance it.
