Default 1995 V8i Auto stuck in high ratio

Dear all,

Am having a bit of a mare with getting my newly bought discovery V8i out of high ratio. The guy i purchased it off has had it since new and has never used the diff lock so i guess it has seased up?! Has anyone got any ideas on how to free it up?
