While trying to track down an odd mis on my '94 Disco, I found this part attached behind the grill beside the coil. What is it? I can see at least one wire coming from it which is not attached to anything, where should it attach? Both terminals on the coil have 2 wires each already on them? Is this something important that I should have hooked up? Here is the pic:

Is your ignition module on the side of the distributor? I have a 95 and the Ign/Mod is located exactly in the circled area in your picture. I think L/R changed the module location 95 YR -UP From integral to remote located. Good luck joe |

Hi mate, you can find them in many places that generate power from the dizzy - altinator - starter and coil, no end of applications but I say a good set of HT leads always does the job and most aftermarket stereo systems these days have the suppression units built in.
