Default 95 Disco ABS reset ?

Happy 2008 Rover folks, trying to figure out whats wrong with my ABS or ABS lights? the issue started when I had a wheel bearing failure and over heated everything on that end of the rig ( passenger rear wheel ) replaced the sensors but the lights are still on, any clues on what to look at next.. thanks in advance folks..

My light has been on since I bought it, 2 yrs and 9 months ago. It only goes out when it's cold or raining.

Hi I am not certain if this is happening to you but on my 96 Disco I found the ABS light contactor to be faulty and so the light never went out. It is $20 Aud part. located under the dash (left had side of right hand steering truck). Pull out and replace. Manual is required for contactor identification with wiring loom colours.
My one is ok now. ???

Cheers

There is a proceedure outlined in the service manual to pull, diag and clear trouble codes with a paperclip in ALL series one discoveries.

You can find the procedure to clear ABS codes on the web in many places, not sure exactly where, try search dweb, I know its there somewhere. Also the codes and what they mean. In short, there is a blue plug under the drivers dash, shorting a couple of pins (1 and 3 IIRC) will get the light to blink in a sequence, giving the code(s), which are useful in troubleshooting and getting the abs light out.
