Default 95 disco starts but then dies

I have a 95 disco 3.9. I live in colorado and it was the coldest night my disco has ever seen. It was runnning fine yesterday but this morning it wouldn't start. I jumped it and it started for a moment then died. This problem repeated and when it did run it sputtered and died. On the first crank it sounds normal, goes to normal idle, but then dies. I put heet in the gas and even put octane boost via rovers north advice. still will not run. Any advice? Fuel pump? fuse? relay? thanks crowbar

has this bit of advice
There is a service bulletin circulating at the Range Rover Dealers that you should know about. It suggests that you consider placing 5W-40W oil in your vehicle if you live in a cold climate. This will allow the starter to turn faster and help eliminate flooding problems in cold start situations. Move back to a 10W-40or 20W-50 in warmer climates and in the summer.

hope it helps

Thanks tom

That is my next on the to do list I think my fuel pump is the culprit but it is -2 today so I have to wait till it warms alittle to get out and check all fuses and relays. Do you know were the fuel relay is on the 95 disco? Also I found a pump and all hardware and shipping for around $215 Any thing you have found cheaper?

Thanks
