96 Rover Like everyone has been saying use some lube goes a forever long way. I carry some WD40 in the glove box. Might try some lithium grease and see how that works. It is better than replacing the ignition. It now rarely happens to me.

I have heard Rover stories of engines lasting up towards 400,000mi. Oil changes, plugs, wires, belt, valve job, trany fluid changes, considering all these are done routinely.
