Default 97 and 95 headlights the same?

I need to replace a passenger headlight on my 95 disco 1 (damn rocks), I just want to make sure that the 97 disco 1 headlights are swappable/similar looking before i buy it. Help would be appreciated.

If anyone knows the exact years the headlight is the same that would be great info.

Thanks,

Paul

Wink Confirm it here

Look at the photos and decide for yourself. I think you would want the newer headlights and some rock protection for the next time. Maybe you don't want to be next to that other truck when it throws a rock, eh?

BTW, the Discovery changed headlights after '99 from H4 to the multi-light setup.

Yep, there are kits and quite a bit of work. Some stuff on google too: check out the first two.

Hi guys,

yes haedlamp conversions are possible, however some surgery may be required for the 02 model (angel eye) system

first buy the CD-Rom from www.td5alive.co.uk and follow the instructions which are very clear and idiot proof, just don't go out and buy idiot 1.2 fro MS.
then if you wish to procede go and buy all the bits needed, your disco will look realy cool with the conversion

also try www.discoveryownersclub.com for further info

regards
martin
