Default '99 D1 Fuel Pump Relay Location???

I just got my relay in the mail from Atlantic British to see if this is the fix for my intermittant starting problems on my 1999 D1 with a 4.0. I went to the truck to "pop it in" and I can't locate the relay! I looked in the right kick panel and saw several relays (yellows & green) but none that looked like the new one (black) and nothing close to the part number. I looked under the bonnet on the right fender well and didn't find anything at casual glance. Is it hiding behind the windshield washer resevoir?

Ok, I've had my head in the RH kick panel about a dozen times now. The relays in there are all yellow with one being green. My RAVE cd says the Fuel Pump Relay for my vehicle should be located there and have a blue base. There is no relay in there with a blue base...

The photo in the reply above shows what the diagram on the cd shows but it's not the same. Can someone with the same vehicle or maybe a LR mech on this forum give me a little help here?

Default Final Solution...

Ok, for anyone who is interested. I finally discovered why I couldn't find the fuel pump relay in the RH kickpanel. It's because it's not there... In the '99 D1 the fuel pump relay is in a Multi-function package and is located in the engine compartment next to the fuse box. I found this out by cross referencing the part number with what I had in hand with a site called Britcar (UK) Ltd.

Come to find out the part I got from Atlantic British was for '94-'95... When I ordered it from Atlantic British 2 weeks ago they didn't have the year model posted on the parts catalog so when I looked up a Fuel Pump Relay for a '99 D1 what came up was what I ordered. The difference in price was about $60. The new multi-function relay will arrive in a few days...

Sounds like Rover was using a 99 D2 wiring system on the last of the 99 D1's.

No apologies needed. This is a learning process for most of us. That's why this board is so important...to me at least!
