ABS woes - Land Rovers Only

well i took out the ABS sensors (abs light is on inside), cleaned them up all nice n such and they still arent working, anyone know how you can test them with a multimeter? or what other tests can be conducted in order to diagnose the problem.

1. any way to test ABS sensors?
2. is there any other specific things i should look for?
