Default Alarm quarks?

Anyone ever have a problem like this

Pushing the key fob to turn the alarm on and lock the doors - works just fine (getting the three wink blink from the lights and red light on instrument cluster blinks).

Now when I go to turn it off the doors unluck but no 3 wink blink nor does the little red light in the instrument cluster go off. I insert the key and turn the ignition (a clicking switchlike sound can be heard from around the passenger side kickpanel and then the light goes off and no probelm starting.

Do not get the 3 wink blink as I used to when you turn the alarm/locks off?

Not having any starting or entering the vehicle issues just figuring at some point the alarm is going to go off while driving down the road. That would be awesome and quite funny as well

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Robert

It could be the Alarm Module which is located under the glove box. I don't think it's likely to go off while your driving - but lets know if it does.

Try using the remote locking and unlocking 5 times, this should reset the alarm system, It is locking you out from starting!!!!
If that doesn't work try using the key in the drivers door lock and unlock 3 times to do the same thing!
Good Luck!

I've had some quirks... but no quarks (see below)

I've had some door closed sensors act funny.. Probably sticking from the combo of Moab dust and WD-40. It seems to have worked itself out though.

How's the weather in SD? The Doc I bought my practice from is up there helping keep the pheasant population under control.
