Hello, im new to this forum and to land rovers. I just bought a 97 discovery with 131k from a friend of mine and when i picked it up he informed me that though all windows were working before it was parked about 4 months ago they are not working now. The child lock is not on and none of the windows are reponding to the switches. i have tried the front and back switches but none of the windows will move. I checked the fuses under the dash and they are fine. ANyone hae any idea on what might be causing this?

Have you checked for power to the switches? Have you pulled the door panels and checked for power at motors? Window module is under/behind the glove box, check for power there and if the soldered joints are good.
