Alternator troubles - Land Rovers Only

My alternator finally went kaput.

Does anyone know of a cross refferenced model available at a normal parts source ie: Kragen - pep boys?

Or where I could get mine rebuilt in the Los angeles area???

Replaced it with a new unit from British Pacific for $278

Noone else could fix it and I spent 3 days looking and one doofus even took it alll apart and then said "sorry can't help you"
