Default Another D1 that's overheating due to A/C issues

Hi there I have a bit of an issue that's not nearly as bad now the temp has dropped under 90F but...the problem is that when I'm stationary with the A/C running during the summer the engine temp starts to creep up.

Vehicle Info:
98 Discovery 1
Previous owner had not taken care of her.
Fluids have been changed - Radiator & Oil
S Belt replaced - Still slipping but waiting to replace the automatic tensioner (Tacho a little erratic before she warms up)
Plugs & Leads Replaced

I am guessing that it's either a loose wire or a problem with the relay. Reading through the boards the AC (Condenser fan) is under the cover on the passenger side but which one of the plethora of yellow boxes is it?

Would it work if I was to hard wire the condenser fans into on a switch into the cabin or is that just a back asswards way of doing things.

Cheers

IF

five bucks says the alternator belt has been misrouted, its not supposed to run over the alternator and then under the water pump and then over the steering box. with the less tension everything looses including the alternator and the water pump.

Checked it and then checked it again and a third time and as soon as I get home I'll check it again... would that effect the condenser fans not kicking on? I had a 95 Disco back in the UK and the condenser fans always ran on after the engine had been switched off and the key removed. This '98 doesn't do that...
