I found a Disco in Austin, and am wondering if someone can look at it for me. I live 4hrs away, and can't go look at it. It is a friend buing it, I wish I could help her, but can't.

I'm just outside of Austin and am willing to help. I'm not a mechanic though, so it would just be my opinion unless I'm given a list of items to check.

-I was mainly thinking how does the engine bay look?
-Take oil-fil cap off, what does it look like inside?
-Check oil level/oil leaks
-Check radiator fluid/what color, any oil in it?
-Any water leaks?
-How does it run?
-I know the Check-Engine light is on, What are the codes?
-Prior History,service, work done, maintanence
-Are there any Weird noises, clunks when driven?
-Drive it on the highway, what is the temp?
-Does it drive straight?
-Rattles?
