Default Anyone using Amsoil or other synthetic oils?

Just purchased a 99' series II and I'm thinking of using Amsoil products in it(oil, trans, diffs) is anyone using Amsoil products or other synthetics? By the way the 99' has 55,000 miles on it.
Thanks

I just put Redline synthetics in my "98 LSE (except engine oil ). I've used Redline products in all my race and street cars. ( I do use Swepco in the 911 trans, the synthetics were too slippery for the syncro rings !! ). It is fairly easy to find at most race shops and some parts stores. I buy mine from our local race supplier. I like something that I usually have on hand, and if not I can get it quickly. On my street cars I use Mobil 1 for the engine since I know it is readily avaliable everywhere. On my track 911 I use Valvoline 20-50 dino since I change it so often and the car takes about 12-13 qts. Just my 2-cents, there are probably more knowlegable people on lubricants who can tell you more about the benefits of synthetics. Some advocate dino and change frequently. On the Porsche list this ALWAYS starts off a BIG discussion from both sides !!!!
