Hi Guys (gals) I have had my 96 Tdi for about 5 years, love it of course. BUT I have just noticed a diesel leak from the inspection hole at the bottom of the timing belt cover. How the hell does diesel com eout of here? Where do I start?

If you have diesel inside the timing belt cover , your injection pump must
be leaking . The rubber timing belt won't last very long being bathed in fuel, and if the belt breaks or slips your looking at some serious damage. I would have that looked at right away. Wanna trade for a V8? |
