Would it hurt my truck ( 96 Disco SE ) if i used a 830 or 850 CCA Red Top instead of an 800CCA?

You will not have any problems. I use a 1000CCA battery. In fact, for starting batteries, the higher the CCA rating, the easier it will be to start your engine in cold weather.

ooooooooooooooh....cool cool....i dont think it'll be getting cold down here any time soon..haha....40s is considered FREEZING for Miamians (<i know i know..lol)
