Default better air?

I think the air in my 96 disco 1, isnt working to its full potential. how could i help it do better, or just do anything to get it colder faster. it was 97 yesterday, and with my car sitting in the sun all day while im at school, it gets really really hot. is it possible to put a second air Conditioner in it, or maybe a bigger condenser? i just need something

I suspect your 10 year old AC has leaked some 134.

The a/c unit in your Disco is more then adequate to handle good hot day, and this is based on, as Elemental stated, if you had a properly charge a/c system. Take it to a shop that is familiar with a/c services and get it checked and serviced.

A: get a guage, check level, fill as needed. you can get this shit anywhere now!

B: take it and have it drained and refilled. 134 is a lot cheaper to deal with than the old shit!

ALL North American Discoveries have 134 from the factory.

my d1 was ailing from the same problem when i bought it. the previous owner diddnt know why the ac diddnt work all that great but you could tell it was trying to and as the compressor was working. i haggled because of it and had a 3 hr drive home from his house, stopped at autozone spent $10 for the 134 recharge kit (refrigerant, hose, gauge) and had a nice cool drive home .
