But yes i agree new wheels are best bet, although to get sensible backspace clearance they'll lneed to be custom made. Currently I run 8 spoke steel wheels with 3.5" of backspace clerance and a 1" wheel spacer. The wheel's I'm having made will have 5" of back space clearance ![]() Spacers work well, and as long as you check them every now and again they should be fine, just make sure you go with a quality brand. The only reason I'm ditching them is I can't enter any ARC (Association of Rover Clubs) events with them on. |

Personally if you can get the Scorpion Racing Evo kit for that money I think it's a good deal. The Extreme one is fantastic but carries the price tag. Also if you don't plan on doing anything to OTT then the Evo will probably work just as good. In my experiance it's not just the height needed for fitting bigger tyres, it's physically how big the wheel arch openings are. Some with the arch flare/trim I think have a bigger opening than ones with just metal. But a 33" tyre really is to big to fit, so cutting the arches and adding flares is really your best option. In fact if you add flares compbined with your 2" then 33" tyres will fit easy and possibly even 35" (but they may rub on max flex). |

There seems to be a few avenues change radius arms to suit lift which requires the series 2 front carden joint prop shaft (to eliminate vibration). Or fit modified swivel hubs to correct caster without rolling the diff back. Check out these sites they seem to have the answers. http://www.rovertym.com/ http://www.lrautomotive.com.au |
