Default Brake light problem

Have 1996 Dico II problem with brake lights not coming on when brake light depressed. I check all fuses - test OK. There are 2 plunger switches by the brake peddle ( large rectangular one, smaller round one ) which of these is for the break lights or are both? Help no manuals.

I think it is the larger plud, you should test both and see if you get a signal when the pedal is depressed.

Default Push in all your connectors....

Howdy!

I had a nonworking left reverse light I had to work on. The filament was blown , replaced the bulb but I had also found the Molexpower connector had worked its way out. A good push , and the connector snapped back in place and all was working.

On eBay, there are plenty of folks selling the service manuals for the LandRovers for cheap,if you have a laptop or Windows computer.

if you can get the truck out of park then the switch is ok if not its the rectangular (or bottom) switch.
