Alright, my '97 XD hasn't been on the road in the month and a half i've had it due to non functioning brake lights. Now, I tested the bulbs, cleaned the terminals and checked the wiring and everything else looks and works beautifully.
I'm down to the switch and it would seem that if it was broken the truck wouldn't shift out of park along with the brake lights not working. Or at least thats my understanding. I pulled the switch and tried to check it with my multimeter but I didn't quite know what to test. What I need to know is what wires I should be testing and what else, if anything, I should check out. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am more than tired of beating around in my '92 astro van! ![]() |
