Learn how to drive it correctly. No matter what mods you have...you need to know what to do.

Best advice. Find a local group to take you under their wing. We have gone to events with bone stock trucks, and everyone went through without damage just fine. You will find out soon enough what you need for hardware, but sense and caution win any day.

Single best improvement are probably sliders. The rockers and lower sides are very vulnerable.

You will find that what you propose is a trial and error exercise. All the listed sites for equipment are excellent, but ultimately, you are going to fit things that may or may not be just right for your application. It does take time and changing out parts until you get the formula right.

This is all great advice. I agree w/ the point above: join your local LR off-road club (must be LR,,, must be off-road,,,) and get a feel for your rig, what works & what doesn't on other LR rigs, get feedback, make observations. This will save you much time & money in the long run.

Well....I've changed me mind on the best mod to make. I am going to go with the beer bottle opener. That should be the first mod. More important than suspension or lockers...IMHO
